Designed Criteria
The
Aktif Dome is one of the Aktif Aluminium Sdn Bhd (AASB) high quality
product that evolved from extensive R&D, design and vast technical
experience.
Aktif
Dome is designed and fabricated from lightweight, durable with provided
strength and stability of Aluminium structure and sheet cladding.
The
mesh Aluminium structure is formed by a number of interlocking segments
which is providing an exceptionally strong dome structure.
Design
of the Aktif Dome shall comply with all Government Codes and Regulations,
Malaysian Uniform Building Bylaws, Safety Regulations and any other
regulations applicable to the installation.
Where
there is in existence of relevant Malaysian Standard, British Codes of
Practice applicable to the design, execution or performance of the dome,
finishes, tolerances, fixing to structure, sealants and application, then
the recommendations and requirements shall be considered a minimum
standard for the work described to be complied with.
The
dome primary structure is analyzed as space frame system with uniform dead
load, live/imposed load and wind load are taking into consideration.
Then, the sizing of the main structure, connecting plate, bolts and nuts,
welding and anchoring bolts can be only detailed.
The
dome shall be designed and to withstand a wind loading assumption of the
wind speed equivalent to 30 meter per second ( 108 Km/Hr )
Design, fabricate and install each component part so that deflection
normal to the wall plane at full loading will not exceed LJI75 of the
clear span of the component part. Calculation of such deflection shall be
based upon the combination of maximum direct loading (Dead Load), Maximum
wind pressure and wind suction.
Structural components especially that of the aluminium cladding system
including members, gaskets, welds connection, adhesives and sealant shall
be designed and fabricated with a safety factor not less than 1.5. Failure
is defined as breakage, part disengagement or permanent distortion.
Aktif
Dome is guaranteed for a period of Ten (10) years from the date of
issuance of Completion Certificate against any defects which may occur on
dome system.
